Description

Sewage grease, corrosive gases, solids, and microorganisms in sewage combine to challenge maintenance and increase the risks of pipeline components in wastewater pipeline systems. 

Laminar air valves facilitate efficient discharge and admission of air from pressurised sewage systems. They prevent confined air or gases from jeopardising the system’s performance and effectiveness. The valve’s elongated body design reduces the possibility of suspended solids, greases, debris, or oils clogging the orifice or causing the mechanism to malfunction and stick. For ease of maintenance and safety of operators, the air valve is equipped with a drain plug to allow regular flushing of sediments, grease and particles.

The Laminar range of wastewater air valves is based on stainless-steel internal components with a float on an extended operating stem to ensure the valve is closed before the medium reaches the sealing level. Our air valves offer tight sealing at pressures from 0.2 bar.
