Fire-Safety Ball Valve with Fusible Link

Fire-Safety Ball Valves are commonly referred to either as a Thermal shut-off valve or Fusible Link 3-Piece Ball Valves.
These valves are designed to automatically shut down any gas or liquid in the pipeline when a fire is detected. This provides safety against fires spreading and ensure safe performance than the standard shut-off valves.
The heat-sensitive element will shrink and cause the fusible top work assembly to open, which then shut down fluid flow via the pipeline and prevent any possible fuel leakage.
The fusible link can be engineered to melt at different setpoints (temperatures) depending on the type of the fluid (gas or liquid) that is being conveyed through the pipeline system, such as natural gas, propane, oil, water, etc.
